NIRAS and Rodeco are currently implementing Danida supported Water Sector Programme Support II in Zambia (2012-2013) and seeking experts for immediate short term assignments within the following areas:
- Human Resources Development Specialist
- Information Management System Specialist
- Hydrogeologist
- Community Development Specialist
- Water Utility Management Specialist
- Water Supply Design and Network Specialist
- Operation and Maintenance Specialist
The short term specialists will have to meet the following requirements:
General qualifications and experience
- A relevant university degree in disciplines related to the specific position
- Minimum seven years of relevant professional experience
- Five years of relevant experience from developing countries
- Experience from donor support programmes or projects
- Good inter-cultural and communication skills
Specific qualifications and experience
- Profound experience with capacity building
- Thorough experience with the tasks he/she is proposed to cover
Experience in the region and language
- Fluent in English
- Two years of Southern Africa working experience
