Management of daily hotel operations and has a commercial accountability for planning, Organizing, directing, Controlling and evaluating all hotel employees activities and liaising with the general public in relation to hotel’s commercial affairs.
Job Requirement
The interested candidates should posses the following requirement ; Qualifications :
• Must has studied hotel management or hospitality and tourism with bachelor’s degree level or above in the similar field would be an added advantage (with at least three years of experience)
• MBA or any post graduate diploma with a senior managerial skills and an experience of at least five years
Experience :
• Must have experience in hotel management
• Must have managerial skills
• Preferably s/he may have managed a hotel of the similar category
• Excellent leadership ability, team management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively liaise and build relationships with stakeholders
• English, French, Kinyarwanda and Swahili speaking would be of great values
Main Duties :
• Management of overall strategic overview
• Ensure correct planning in order to maximize profits
• Pay attention to all details while setting a prime example for all staff to deliver a superior standard of service
• Management of Management Team
• Creation and presentation of accurate and concise operational budgets
• Responding to and management of business objectives
• Responding to and management of hotel-wide emergencies and major incidents involving guests and employees or the property
• Handling political relations with local government
• Maintaining good and healthy relationships with surrounding properties
• Promotion and marketing of the hotel
• Dealing with contracts and suppliers
• Carrying out inspections of property and services
• Participate in the interviewing of applicants for various positions in the hotel
• Harmonizing reports to the board or to the managing Director (weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and annually)
• Bringing new innovation or approach to increase hotel’s productivity
