Sales Representative (m/f) in Kenya
Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of cleaning equipment with approximately 10,000 employees in over 60 countries and an innovative product line for industrial, professional and private customers alike.
For the newly established representative office in Nairobi, Kenya, our client is now hiring a Sales Representative (m/f) in charge of sales management and marketing for the region of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. In this position you will be responsible for:
- Overall sales and service development in the region of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
- Providing high level trainings to dealers and clients.
- Dealer development with focus on both sales and service.
- Managing several dealer partners with a drive for continuous and ambitious sales growth.
- Developing further distribution channels in the area of „professional“ and „home & garden” products.
- Maintain competitive knowledge about the market to create and adjust sales strategies.
- Feeding sales results and product experiences of the Kenyan, Ugandan and Tanzanian market back to Headquarters in order to contribute to the continuous market success on group level, including sales controlling and reporting.
In this position you will be reporting directly to the the Head of International Sales in Germany. Initially the Sales Representative will be trained for 3 to 6 months at headquarters in Germany in order to get acquainted both with the products and with the relevant stakeholders.
Desired Skills & Experience
This challenging position requires a relevant university degree with solid experience in technical sales, at least 2 to 3 years of prior work experience in B2B and B2C sales management of commercial durable / semi durable products (like power tools, building material, outdoor and gardening devices, kitchen ware, consumer electronics, etc..). Besides fluency in English, knowledge of Swahili would be an additional asset.
You must have the ability to explain complex technical products to match the needs of the customer. You are expected to exhibit excellent presentation skills, you enjoy working in an international, customer oriented environment. You should be target driven and pro-active.
