Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in sample collection, labeling storage, and analysis for stratigraphic dating using microfossils.
Participates in geological field work.
Sits on well sites for sample collection and analysis. Participates in regional studies
Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Holder of a BSC degree in Biology, Geology, Miclopalaentogy or equivalent
qualification from a recognized institution with 1 st or Upper 2nd Class OR
Holder of a Masters degree in Miclopalaentology or related field.
A working experience in the related field will be an added advantage.
Desired Competences
Computer skills is essential
Excellent writing skills & Communication skills
Fluency in written and spoken English and Swahili:
Age limit
Not more than 30 years for a first degree holder and 35 years for master’s level.
Remuneration:
According to TPDC scheme of service in the salary scale of TPDC-RS 2
