Position Description:
Sao Hill Industries Ltd,

Location:Sao Hill Industries Ltd, Mafinga, Iringa, Tanzania.

Contract Type:Permanent and pensionable.

Work hours:Full-time

Department:Technical.

Reports to: Garage Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

the selected candidate will,

Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.

Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems.

Repair, reline, replace, and adjust vehicle's troublesome areas.

Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors.

Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas.

Confer with drivers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.

Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.

Perform his/her duties in accordance with Occupational health and Safety Standards.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Garage Manager, Company's Technical Manager and the General Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate shall have:

A Diploma in Auto Mechanics with at least three years experience in the same position.
