Reporting to: Program Director
Roles & Responsibilities
Directs and co-ordinates all projects/ programs of 50S Children's Villages Programs in Mwanza.
Builds and develops a committed and effective staff team to support sustainable implementation of programs
Ensures that programs resources are used appropriately & efficiently.
Lead building and strengthening partnership with government, Civil
Society Organizations, private sector and communities to ensure
Vulnerable children receiving Utility care, education and health
He is overall in charge of all programs in Mwanza.
Responsible for program proposals development
Leads the programme management cycle in Mwanza.
Provide strategic leadership in fundraising and resource mobilization in Mwanza
Responsible for preparation and submission of implementation progress narrative reports, management reports submitted to donors, management, Board of Trustees and other stakeholders.
Academic Qualifications and Work Experience
Masters/Degree-in, Social Sciences/ Development/ community development or development studies from any recognized university or its equivalent.
At least four (5) years of I working experience in programming, preferably in NGO demonstrated by solid competencies in managing programs.
Experiences in proposal writing, Must clearly be able to justify the successful proposals wrote by him/her.
Good written and verbal communication skills both in English and
Swahili, ability to communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Computer literacy and competency is a must
