Background:

We leverage Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s 34-year history engaging in international agriculture and economic development programs, implementing more than 280 programs in 80 countries since 1981.

Project Description:

Land O’Lakes is currently preparing for an anticipated USAID-funded program in Tanzania that will address constraints to agricultural productivity through improving the business-enabling environment. It will build the capacity of the private sector to dialogue with policymakers and create a forum for effective public private partnerships. The program will also have an access to finance component under which it will provide technical assistance to both financial institutions and businesses.

Project roles:

We are looking for expressions of interest from experienced and qualified development professionals specialized in one of the following technical areas:

· Policy and Enabling Environment

· Finance and Investment

· Market Access and Trade

· Private Sector Engagement

· Gender and Youth Engagement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in related field of expertise;

· 8+ years of experience in technical area;

· Experience working on international projects; and

· Fluency in English.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

· Advanced degree;

· Development work experience in the region;

· Local language ability; and

· Experience working on USAID funded projects.
