Saudi Aramco is seeking a Senior Auditor to work with the Special Audits Division under the Internal Auditing Organization. The primary role for the Senior Auditor will be the responsibility of planning, organizing and the execution of investigations of suspected fraud, thefts, conflicts of interest, questionable acts, etc., under the direction of the Special Audits Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the performance and capabilities of the assisting forensic auditors on each assignment in which the employee will function.

The primary responsibilities of the Special Audits Division are to conduct audits of irregular activities that are beyond the normal scope of regularly scheduled audits and to identify actual or potential frauds in the Company's operations. In accomplishing its role, Special Audits Division conducts, on an ad hoc basis, fraud audits of accounting records and controls and other irregular business matters. Additionally, the Division acts as the General Auditor's representative point of contact with other organizations in the Company, such as Industrial Security Operations, Law, and Government Affairs, on matters of fraud, conflicts of interest, misappropriation and other irregularities.
Minimum Requirements
  • A B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Forensic or other related fields is required (advanced degree and at least one professional certification is preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in forensic auditing, including use of forensic accounting principles and computer forensic procedures are required.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform all supervisory functions common to those of the supervisor level with attendant approval authority common thereto.
  • Oversee the activities of in-charge auditors assigned to review organizations or functions falling within his area of responsibility.
  • Develop a comprehensive program of audit coverage for his assigned unit.
  • Schedule audits and staff assignments to accomplish the program of audits in accordance with acceptable audit standards and within the approved schedules.
  • Establish the purpose, scope and audit approach of each project or audit assigned to his unit.
  • Prepare or assist in preparation of forensic audit reports.
  • Deliver presentations to various organizations on fraud awareness, and/or business ethics and/or conflicts of interest.
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to inexperienced or less experienced staff.
