Saudi Aramco is seeking an Investment Strategist to join the Investment Management Department (IMD). The IMD is a part of the Finance Business Line in Saudi Aramco and reports to the Treasury organization. Its objectives are to provide expert financial advice within the employee defined benefit and defined contribution plans of Saudi Aramco.

Successful candidates will be responsible for developing the investment strategy and portfolio analytics for defined benefit and defined contribution benefit plans. The candidate’s functions include asset allocation, asset liability management, risk management, setting investment guidelines, rebalancing the portfolio, and establishing portfolio analytics, e.g., risk reporting, performance attribution and exposure and liquidity reports. In addition to conventional asset classes, the individual should have experience in alternative investments. It is preferred that the individual is a CFA and a M.S. degree in Finance or an MBA is considered an asset.
Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in Finance or related field is preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in institutional investing is required.
  • CFA certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative background.
