Training Officer
Job Purpose
Providing facilitation in the design, implementation, supervision and evaluation of partner's training for the Banking on Change (BoC) project.
Job Requirements
The post holder will be required to conduct quality programming of training in VSLA in financial and entrepreneurial literacy, life skills, gender and child rights.
Timely Delivering and effective use of allocated VSLA programs' budget and other resources. Ensure integration of activities (VSLA, Education, Livelihood, Water Sanitation & Microfinance)
Produce monthly and quarterly monitoring and reporting of VSLA programs budget expenditures and output deliveries. Give Technical advice and guidance to the PU on training related strategies.
In collaboration with the VSLA Coordinator, set up monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to monitor projects. Identify training needs of staff and assess their capacity in disseminating relevant information.
Facilitate training for improved knowledge and performance of staff and partner in implementing VSLAprograms /projects. Create awareness on new and on-going initiatives in VSLA area
Ensure that child right issues are taken into account in project design and implementation. CoordinateVSLA programs with district stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
A degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration or its equivalent
2 -3 years working experience in Non profit making organisation will be an added advantage

Project Accountant
Job Purposes
Providing timely and reliable financial information and analysis that leads to effective decision making and managing the corporate financial information system for Banking on Change (BoC) Project and ensure compliance and internal controls are adhered to in the procurement and payment process. \.
Job Requirements
Project cash and budget management
Prepare weekly and monthly Project cash forecasts in a realist manner Review cash disbursement vouchers, review purchase requisitions and orders. Review payment packages for budget availability and correct coding.
Monitor budget versus expenditure, ensure timely processing and disbursement of payments to legitimate suppliers.
Prepare work plan and budget in co ordination with the project co coordinator and make sure that all expenditures are according to work plan and budget
Financial reporting
Manage general ledger accounting system
Reconcile Accounting software reports with project Reports, monitor the advances register and Partner advances
Ensure Accountability in Preparation, review, consolidation and submission of correct and complete Project Financial reports on time
Coordinate and ensure availability of all documents during Project audit
Internal Financial Controls enhancement
Ensure adherence to financial controls, processes and procedures. Follow up finance-related audit actions
Participate in Quarterly physical asset and inventory verifications
Field Support Visit
Training of communities in financial and record maintenance as and when required Verification of direct benefits distribution to communities and project support visit and reporting
Qualifications and Experience
A degree in Accounting or its equivalent
CPA and 2 -3 years working experience in Non profit making organisation will be an added advantage
Information, Communication & Technology Manager
Job Purpose:To manage the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) environment and services (including responsibility for information security) within the country under the direction of the Country Director and the RegionallCT Manager.
Job Requirements:
Participate in the development and implementation of the global IT strategy Availability and reliability of the ICT infrastructure, applications and connectivity Maintain agreed levels of service provision and service levels
Expenditure control within approved limits and management of approved ICT budget Provide ICT support to delivering program outputs
Provide ICT expertise to ICT in the communities (ICT as a medium of development)
Lead the provision of technical support for corporate applications, including installation and upgrades Manage ICT risks
Participate in system/project testing, rollout and certification
Lead the provision of technical solutions and systems to meet local requirements Provide content input to ICT staff recruitment, training and development
Provide training and support on technical aspects of corporate applications and information security responsibilities Provide Risk Management advice to local management team.
Provide supplemental policies and guidelines for local security environment
As local Information Security Officer (L1S0) perform ongoing activities as required by corporate policy

University Degree or equivalent’ in a Computer studies discipline
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the field of ICT, preferably with management responsibilities
Experience of supporting. Local area networks, SQL Server, Exchange server, wide area networking (including CISCO devices) and telecommunications
Experience of Microsoft Server administration
Experience of database administration for Microsoft SQL Server
Experience in managing and implementing information systems and supporting technologies Training in management and/or project management an advantage
Work experience in an NGO is an advantage
