Students who will graduate in 2013 with BSc, MSc or PhD. Students who are passionate about technology, with skills in some of the following areas: • Java and/or C++ Programming skills – Demonstrated practical experience by way of final year project in Java/C++/Web technologies and interim placement experience would be advantageous • Skills in Web 2.0 Technologies: AJAX, Javascript, PHP, XML, Dojo etc • Basic skills across multiplatform operating systems, Windows and Linux in particular • Relational database skills eg MS SQL, Oracle, DB2 • Good understanding of software development process/cycle • Test automation skills across a couple of the leading automation tool (e.g. Rational Functional Tester, Rational Performance tester, Selenium, Segue's QA Partner, Microsoft MSTest, JUnit) • Understanding of Networking and HTTP • Ability to demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills |
