The person in this role will act as the primary marketing interface to the GTS GMT service line leader for the offerings and market segment that they manage. Then develop a thorough understanding of the market and define the overall strategy for the market segment including offering plans, channels/routes to market and pricing/business case which is documented in the business plan. They are responsible for developing the marketing plan which includes the overall market segmentation model and priorities within it; the market positioning and IBM's value proposition within the market segment; and prioritization of marketing programs, routes to market, and channel enablement requirements to meet the revenue and profit goals. The role also entails a workforce enablement mission to ensure all GTS members have a deep understanding of the fundamentals of IBM business, and enable all S&D sellers to become knowledgeable advocates of strategic GTS specific initiatives and offerings enabling IBM employees to build a positive personal connection to GTS and have purposeful conversations across the wheel of influence, and engage clients in opportunity identification conversations which explore new ways for IBM to provide business value. |
