The successful candidate will be offered a Temporary Appointment for six months.
Purpose of the Post:
Major duties and responsibilities:
Support ACSD in supply planning, estimating and drafting of new requisitions. Facilitate ACSD program in speed-up reviewing and finalizing process by coordinating with Supply section.
Monitor and report status of pipeline supplies, plan in advance for distribution, coordinate with logistics team reducing lead time for deliveries and warehouse storages.
Assist ACSD section in supplies distribution and monitoring, coordinate with zones to finalize and execute distribution plans.
Follow-up of planned dispatches and report delivery status on weekly basis.
Coordinate with partners, communicate planned deliveries, confirm supplies deliveries.
Keep regular contacts with partners to maintain regular supply line.
Make recommendations for improving supplies distribution and monitoring system.
Any other task assigned by supervisors. Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
• University Logistics/Procurement/Supply or related technical field. • Two years experience at r progressively responsible professional experience in programme design, administration, monitoring and evaluation in related field. • Communication, analytical and training skills. • Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment. • Computer skills, including internet navigation, and various office applications. • Fluency in English and Somali.
