Job Description (Duties):
Primary Function
To manage the Freight Forwarding Group, elaborate Group strategies to deliver projects as per company’s objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organise the FF Group in support of company’s objectives.
- Set group objectives, strategies and design performance reporting tools.
- Manage the FF Group with respect to objectives, personnel evaluation, technical training and general logistics support.
- Establish EHS and etc key performance indicators to ensure compliance with CNOOC standards.
- Compile SOPs to comply with PSA, JOAs obligations, benchmarking the best practices in the oil industry.
- Establish and seek approvals with FIN for budgets; monitor and report against such as per agreed schedule and limits.
- Adhere to SLAs with identified clients and act as liaison function between SCM planning and all projects.
- Manage major contractors with respect to SOPs, performance and contractual issues.
- Elaborate schedule and ToRs for Audits, internal and external.
- Build and Deliver a succession plan by coaching and mentoring and being responsible for staff development.
- Other duties assigned by leaders.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Planning, Logistics management, Supply Chain Management or the related
- At least 5 year related working experience.
- 3 years of supervisory experiences.
- Comprehensive experience with all SCM disciplines required
- Experience working in Africa on the above is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of logistics and foreign trade process
- Knowledge of declaration, import and export transportation
- Intensive knowledge of Electronic Media Management System required
- Excellent skills for office software: MS Word, Power Point, Excel
- Understanding of oil E&P
- Excellent leading, planning and communication skills
- Good understanding of culture diversity
- Excellent analyzing and problem-solving ability
- Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese
- Excellent team player
- High standard business ethics and integrity
- Highly motivated and achievement orientated
- Preference to overseas and offshore oil field working experience
