Capacity Building and Training Coordinator FINCA

FINCA Uganda Limited (MDI) is the very first licensed micro finance deposit taking institution in Uganda, and part of a global network which serves over 850,000 clients in 21 countries. FINCA Uganda currently offers loans, savings and money transfer services in Uganda, one of the most competitive and dynamic microfinance markets in the world. FINCA Uganda is seeking to recruit dynamic, self motivated, result oriented professionals to fill the positions below.

1. Capacity Building and Training Coordinator.
The Capacity Building and Training Coordinator is a member of the Human Resources department based at Head Office Kampala. S/he is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the human resources development programmes in FINCA Uganda in line with the HR development plan and Human Resources Management Manual. The position reports to the Human Resources Manager.

Key Result Areas:
• Develop, implement and monitor the implementation of HR development programmes in line with the HRM manual and HR Development plan.
• Develop training proposals, source for training and capacity building funds and identify cost-saving methods of organization-wide training opportunities in line with the donor requirements.
• Developing the HR department strategy, annual operational activity plan and department Budget.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate performance management and talent management systems in line with the HRM Manual.
• Develop, review and implement the reward structure to retain the competitive staff in line with the HR strategic plan

Job requirement

Ideal profile:
• A degree in business/humanities/HR and Psychology related fields from a recognized institution. A post graduate qualification in MBA (HR), MHRM or M.Organisational Psychology is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years work experience in a related role.
• Should have attended a Training of Trainers course, Knowledge of writing project proposals.
• Flexibility in travelling.
