The Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor (SAGCOT) is an international public private partnership that aims to transform agricultural in Tanzania’s Southern Corridor.Partners include local and international companies, farmers, development partners, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the Tanzanian Government. By 2030, the partnership aims to attract USD 3.2 billion of investments, transforming 350,000 hectares of arable land into profitable production and lifting 10,000 small scale farmers into commercial farming to the Southern Corridor.
SAGCOT Centre Ltd is the administrative unit to the partnership and functions as a hub to promote investments in inclusive, sustainable commercial value chains. The SAGCOT Centre is also a neutral broker and catalyst that links different agriculture stakeholders in order to create synergies and help them achieve the SAGCOT objectives.
SAGCOT Centre Ltd is currently looking for:
Consultancy Assignment: Funders/Donors Management Technical Advisor
Duration: Six Months
Qualifications & Experience:The individual is expected to have to have sufficient resources and experience that demonstrates the appropriate mix of skills required for this assignment. Interested candidates should be able to showcase the following characteristics:

The consultant is expected to have sufficient resources and experience that demonstrates the appropriate relevant skills required for this assignment. The consultant should be able to showcase the following characteristics:
· Master’s degree with a minimum of seven years of experience in social science field international development, or business development (or a combination thereof) required.
· Significant work experience with the management of contracts with multiple donors' is required. It is strongly preferred that this experience includes the management of contracts with the World Bank, USAID and DFID.
· Familiarity with designing and implementing reporting system requirements of multi-funders and government funded projects.
· Experience in working in Tanzania and/or East Africa.
· Good report writing skills, negotiations skills and fluent in English
· Ability to work independently
