1.1 Entry qualification for Assistant Lecturer post
- Holder of relevant of bachelor degree or Equivalent from reputable Higher academic Institution ( First class, or Upper second class, with GPA 3.8 or a B+ in relevant subjects for unclassified degree and
- Master degree at 4.0 GPA
- At least two years experience in academics

- Language proficiency
- Capacity to communicate information, knowledge and skills to others
- Capacity to prepare and deliver own teaching materials
- Problems solving and innovation skills
- Capacity to recognize those having difficulties, intervene, and provide help and support

2.1 Entry qualification for Lecturer’s post
- PhD degree with a master degree at 4.0 GPA from reputable Higher Learning Institutions registered/recognized by TCU.
- At least two years of relevant experience

- Ability to design, set, administer and supervise different assessment items
- Ability to mark student scripts and course work assessment items and provide feedback
- Ability to prepare and deliver own teaching materials
- Ability to carry out independent research and provide feedback
- Ability to supervise research and other knowledge and skills development activities.
3.0 Terms of EmploymentSuccessful candidates will be employed on Contract terms of three (3) years (renewable) however the confirmation shall be made after satisfactory completion of first year.
