Entry qualification for Assistant Lecturer post
Holder of relevant of bachelor degree or Equivalent from reputable Higher academic Institution ( First class, or Upper second class, with GPA 3.8 or a B+ in relevant subjects for unclassified degree and
Master degree at 4.0 GPA
At least two years experience in academics
General attributes
Language proficiency
Capacity to communicate information, knowledge and skills to others
Capacity to prepare and deliver own teaching materials
Problems solving and innovation skills
Capacity to recognize those having difficulties, intervene, and provide help and support
Capacity to prepare quality research proposals
Motivation for Innovation, further Learning and Continuing professional development
Terms of Employment
Successful candidates will be employed on Contract terms of three (3) years (renewable) however the confirmation shall be made after satisfactory completion of first year.
