The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, through the Global Fund for Malaria Grant, will engage additional Staff for the Logistics, Management Unit (LMU) of the Ministry. The Vacancies are as follows:-

Logistics Data Associates – (Five Posts)

Roles and Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Work with the Zonal Logistics Coordinator to check the quality and completeness of the LMIS reports recording discrepancies and making necessary notations.
Report all bugs/errors as they arise to the Logistics Data Analyst/ IT Specialist.
Work with the Zonal Logistics Coordinator in preparing monthly logistics reports.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Diploma in Business Administration.
Diploma in Information Technology will be an added advantage.
At least two years experience in data management.
Excellent Communication Skills are important.

Health Supply Chain Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop and review key supply chain performance indicators. Oversee the collection and management of health commodity data to monitor Supply Chain performance and deliverables on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis.
Develop M&E study protocols and instruments, including background research and literature reviews to gather relevant data for country-specific studies and assessments.
Objectively evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of LMU performance.
Use results of M&E activities to identify areas of improvement, and to inform annual work planning and budgets.
Monitor the implementation and ensure overall quality of all LMU training activities.
Work closely with the Upstream Logistics Coordinator, Head of National Logistics Coordinator. Logistics Data Analyst and other relevant staff.
Provide necessary data/evaluation results, which can be used for the development and decision making.
Work with capacity building specialist to develop, review and disseminate health commodity logistics management tools. Collaborate with key M&E stakeholders as needed.
Represent the LMU at interagency meetings, professional conferences, etc.
Develop templates and routinely prepare reports on general logistics 'system performance, and disseminate to appropriate stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Post-graduate Degree in Public Health, Logistics, Demography, Biostatistics or related field.
Experience in M&E of Public Health programmes.
Strong skills in statistical software packages such as SPSS, SAS, Strata, Epic-Info - is mandatory.
Experience in Logistics/supply chain Management of Public
Health commodities is desirable.
Excellent Communication Skills are important.
