ARC is looking for the suitable candidate to fill the position of Medical Coordinator in Nyabiheke
Key responsibilities:
• Coordinate and assist in all health activities including curative, preventive and community health;
• Plan, supervise and evaluate primary health care services provided to the refugees;
• Provide technical support to Nurses and Lab Technicians through regular meetings and mentorship
• Ensure adherence to national/international standards, specifically MoH and WHO.
• Establish strategies for efficient health activities and its application;
• Design and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reports;
• Coordinate the relationship with health local authorities (Gatsibo District health Unit, MoH), NGOs, UN services and Donors;
• Supervise and control utilization of all health resources including drugs and medical equipments;
• Coordinates and advises Health Education, Nutritional, VCT/PMTCT and GBV programs to ensure that those programs are going on well.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor`s degree in general medicine
• Fluent in both English and French
• Experience in Monitoring &Evaluation and reporting
• Computer literate
• Ability to live and work in isolated areas of Rwanda
• Previous experience with INGO is an advantage
• Registered by Rwanda Medical Council
