The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization  committed to strengthening integrated health systems in the developing world and expanding access to care and treatment for HIV/AIDS, malaria, diarrhea and other diseases. CHAI wishes to recruit the following positions:
  • Distribution and Marketing Coordinator, Essential Child Medicines
The Coordinator will seek to increase access to essential child medicines in private sector, focusing on both “supply chain optimization and demand generation. The Coordinator will analyze and map the private sector value chain to identify key decision makers and areas of inefficiency; conduct market analyses and develop business cases to demonstrate to suppliers the market potential and to inform the development of a demand generation strategy; and enhance private suppliers’ promotion efforts, including detailing and CMEs. Experience in marketing pharmaceuticals or FMCG is an advantage.
  • Diarrhea and Pneumonia Technical Assistant to the Ministry of Health
The Technical Assistant will be seconded to the MOH Child Health Department providing technical assistance in order to enhance access to treatment and prevention of childhood diarrhea and pneumonia. The Assistant will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including enhancing communication between different stakeholders managing a technical committee and quantitative analysis.
  • Access to Medicines Coordinator

The Coordinator will design and implement programs to increase the number of people accessing antiretroviral therapy for HIV/AIDS and artemisinin-based drugs for malaria treatment. The Coordinator will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including, drug quantification, supply chain optimization and capacity building. The Candidates must have exceptional quantitative skills and fluency in Excel

Requirement:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a demanding, results-oriented environment in the private or public sector. Experience in health, strategy, consulting, or finance, or is an advantage.
  • Advanced degree in business, Medicine, public health, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Outstanding analytical, management, and communication skills, quantitative analytical capabilities, including fluency in Excel and PowerPoint.
