VisionFund Uganda seeks to recruit strongly self motivated professionals to occupy the following vacant positions: Job Category 2. IT Manager Ref no. 02/04/2013 No. of positions: 1 Location. Head Office Kampala. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Be the overall in-charge of the IT Dept. Strengthen system controls Provide IT strategic advice to the CEO Review and constantly upgrade VFU IT Policies and procedures. Annually review and align IT strategy to that of VFU

Requirement: University Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. 5 years experience in managing MIS/ IT I component of a bank or a microfinance operation in a regulated setting. Proven expertise in network administration and in troubleshooting common PC problem. Must have knowledge of intermediate accounting and basic statistics. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity applications, database applications and other related applications; Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team. Experience in software installation will be an added advantage.
