Business School Director

The overall objective of the Transformation Trigger Facility (TTF) is to accelerate Ethiopia’s economic transformation, and through this attain economic growth, skill development and employment creation in the manufacturing sector and contribute to the country’s goal of achieving a middle-income status by 2020-23.

IDI is looking for a Business School Director to support the establishment of the EU-Ethiopia Business School which will provide high quality practically orientated MBAs.

  

Qualifications and Experience:

·         PhD in Economics, Trade, Business, Management, Higher Education or other relevant fields

·         Preferably 15 but at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in a Business School, with at least 5 years of experience as Director of the school or in its organization development;

·         Preferably 10 but at least 5 years  of relevant professional experience in the development of a Business School's policy; business strategy, recruitment, staff development, financial and operational management, and marketing;

·         Preferably 10 but at least 5 years  of relevant professional experience in curriculum development;

·         Must be familiar with requirements for international accreditation of business schools;

·         Experienced in resource mobilization and development and marking of course programmes highly desirable;

·         Involvement with the Association of African Business Schools and/or Global Business School Network highly desirable;
