Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) intends to engage qualified consultancy firm or firms with Commonwealth experience for the following activities:
- Drafting a new Kenya Ports Authority Act to give effect to the new Port Regulations
- Proposing changes that will vest all Ports, Port Services, Inland Ports and Waterways to KPA
- Reviewing the list of Scheduled Ports as contained in the Second Schedule for the current Act
- Aligning the proposed KPA Act to the provisions of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and the current international standards in shipping.
