Capacity Building Expert

The overall objective of the Transformation Trigger Facility (TTF) is to accelerate Ethiopia’s economic transformation, and through this attain economic growth, skill development and employment creation in the manufacturing sector and contribute to the country’s goal of achieving a middle-income status by 2020-23.

IDI is looking for a Capacity Building Expert to support and strengthen the capacities of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED) and Ministry of Industry (MoI). The expert will provide training services so that relevant institutions have the capacity to successfully develop, coordinate and implement the TTF.

Qualifications and Experience:

·         Masters degree in Learning and Development, Education, International Development, Economics, Psychology, MBA or other relevant field;

·         Preferably 15 but at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in planning and managing interventions in learning and development in an international context;

·         Preferably 10 but at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in developing capacity building courses for top managers in public entities (management, trade industrial development etc) and private entities (entrepreneurial management);

·         Preferably 10 but at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Training Needs Assessment, identification of capacity building needs, and training/capacity building at national, regional or international level;

·         Excellent knowledge of EDF procedures and experience working in EDF countries essential;

·         Experience in networking, knowledge management and IT, preferably including establishment and management of websites and information databases highly desirable
