Senior Consultant – Head of Business Development (London, UK)

Nathan Associates London Ltd. is looking for an experienced and driven Head of Business Development to build on the success of our expanding business.

The position

We are looking for a business development professional to work within our small London team with a track record of coordinating the procurement of a pipeline of assignments in the development sector. He/she will have:

· At least ten (10) years of relevant experience

· Technical experience and understanding of our core area of business and be willing to continue to undertake some technical consultancy assignments;

· Substantial business development experience in the area of international development;

· Experience in intelligence gathering with regard to up-coming donor-funded procurements and experience in leading proposal initiatives in response to those procurements;

· Experience working in developing countries;

· Knowledge and experience of the procurement processes and systems of leading donor organisations (DFID and/or World Bank strongly preferred);

· A professional network in the development community;

· A passion about winning business;

· Excellent writing and presentation skills;

· Willingness to travel to developing countries;

· The right to live and work in the UK, or be in a position to obtain this quickly.
