The purpose of the role is to provide direct output support to the VP: Human Resources, Continental Africa Region (CAR) by coordinating the implementation of HR initiatives around oneERP across CAR.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES:
The role holder has the following accountabilities and authorities:
- Develop a SAP HR implementation plan (schedule & resources) for CAR taking into account the global SAP HR implementation plan to ensure that the plans are aligned or integrated with other initiatives within CAR.
- "Lead" the data cleanup process (quality and integrity) of HR data to support the CAR annual HR Processes e.g. salary increases, cash bonus and shares.
- Act as specialist advisor to build capacity on SAP HR in CAR supported by a capability building program.
- Provide technical specialist support services to Business Units and on-site SAP advisors on the implementation of SAP HR.
- Manage weekly HR team calls and represent the CAR HR team on cross-functional calls held by corporate development and/or business development team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A recognised Bachelors degree in Human Resources
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources processes, practices and procedures.
- Proven past experience in a SAP implementation.
