Brief Background
Broadband Systems Corporation, Ltd (“BSC Ltd”) is a licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP) that is incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Rwanda. The company is engaged in the business of providing advanced Information Communication Technology (“ICT”) services based on broadband connectivity.
In order to effectively accomplish its business objectives, BSC Ltd is looking for qualified and competent candidates to fill the following vacant position:
Position: Administration Manager (1)
Duties: The Administration Manager’s main responsibility is to improve the processes and policies of the company by guiding the administrative staff in their various responsibilities. He /she plays an important role in long-term organizational planning
Key Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the implementation of BSC Ltd mission by providing the necessary managerial, logistical and administrative support required for the realization of company targets; including such areas as budget, procurement, finance, human resources management, general services, logistics, etc.;
- Act as principal adviser on all matters pertaining to administrative and technical support and be accountable for the administration expenditure across the Company ;
- Plan, organize, implement, manage and oversee the activities of all procurement , logistical and administrative support operations;
- Provide effective management of human, financial and material resources of the Institution. Liaise, negotiate and coordinate with national authorities with respect to administrative and logistical matters;
- Ensure cooperation and integration of administrative and logistical resources across BSC Ltd;
- Ensure development, preparation, coordination and monitoring of overall work plans, strategies and programs for the administrative and logistical support activities.
- Establish a set of sound policies, procedures practices, standards and tools that are consistent with best practice in order to ensure proper budget, procurement, accounting, financial, and human resources management and control;
- Provide guidance, support and supervision to procurement, logistic and other support staff and evaluation services as appropriate;
- Act as the principal liaison across BSC Ltd for logistics, procurement and overall administration matters and co-ordinate day-to-day support operations;
Qualification and Experience
- Advanced University degree (Masters Degree or equivalent) in business or public administration, human resources management, finance, accounting, law, or related fields,
- A first level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- Have at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in administration with strong experience of minimum 3 years’ experience of procurement at a leadership level
- Proven experience of 2 years’ experience in logistics policies, financial regulations, and demonstrated leadership ability.
- A person of proven integrity, highly motivated, innovative and a team player
