M&E Expert(British Council)

Maxwell Stamp and the British Council are currently developing our contacts with leading experts in the field of education and fund management in Rwanda. Profile: M&E Expert (part-time)

Required M&E competencies

• Advanced university degree in education/social sciences or related field
• Sound knowledge of research methodologies and M&E methodologies
• Strong experience in Monitoring & Evaluation: including working in the field of reporting and monitoring, collection of information, and tracking results and outcomes
• Experience drafting monitoring and evaluation templates, handbooks and manuals, and producing reporting tools
• Experience with carrying out quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods
• Ability to collect and process data and produce concise reports
• Experience with assisting with the M&E system design and ability to work with M&E software
• Skilled in designing/conducting impact evaluations/assessments
• Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis and value-for-money analysis
• Preferable experience working with CSOs on M&E, and ability to provide M&E capacity building
