The Center for Climate Change and Sustainable Energy Policy (3CSEP) at the Central European University has openings for junior researchers. We are looking for 2 to 3 motivated researchers to work on two new projects.

Position 1: Energy modeling researcher

The researcher will construct a global energy and GHG emission model that assesses the contribution the building sector can make to climate change mitigation goals.

Position 2: Energy Efficiency Policy Analyst

The researcher will work on a project to aid the development of an online tool and associated handbooks to assist decision makers in creating policy packages for energy efficiency in buildings. The project will involve developing an existing pilot tool, as well as adopting and testing the tool and handbooks in two African cities.

Both positions can be applied for at the same time. This should be stated in the cover letter. Part-time availability will also be considered.
