Director - Maasai Steppe Heartland

AWF seeks to recruit a highly motivated and results oriented Director for its Maasai Steppe Heartland to be based in its offices in Makuyuni and Arusha, Tanzania, with significant time spent in the field. This senior position will be responsible for overall leadership, management and accountability for the activities and performance in AWF’s conservation program in the Heartland and is open to Tanzania nationals. The Maasai Steppe Heartland is an important biodiversity area and forms part of the northern tourism circuit of Tanzania with parks such as Tarangire and Lake Manyara. It predominately occupied by Maasai pastoralists.
