Tearfund are looking for an experienced senior manager and leader to head our PEPFAR funded HIV/AIDS programme in Zambia. Tearfund are 18 months into a 24 month PEPFAR funded project cycle and are looking for a senior leader to complete this project successfully.
The post-holder will have responsibility for representing Tearfund in Zambia with external agencies and outworking the project strategy, together with leading the team responsible for programme implementation and finance. Strong experience is required in leadership and people management, representation, budget management, donor reporting and corporate compliance.
Applicants will be educated to degree level and must have substantive experience in implementing HIV/AIDS programmes. Excellent written and spoken English is essential, as is good influencing and negotiation skills. Applicants must have previous experience of having worked in Zambia / Southern Africa.
