Ethiopia Country Director
FARM-Africa has a vision of a prosperous rural Africa. Working alongside Africa’s farmers, herders and forest communities, we enable them to adopt the latest technologies and link to markets to make sustainable improvements to their livelihoods.
The Ethiopia Country Director will be responsible for the delivery of FARM-Africa’s Ethiopian programme and its strategic goals. You will lead the Ethiopian senior management team, working with them to build staff capacity to deliver well managed projects.
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all operational aspects of the programme, including relationships with relevant stakeholders, a staff of approximately 140 and the annual expenditure budget. You will also play a key role contributing to the overall strategy and future growth of FARM-Africa.
You will have a successful track record of working within the NGO sector and a strong understanding of donor environments, working closely with communities, government and the private sector. You will have lived and worked in sub-Saharan Africa, have excellent hands-on programme, financial, strategic and human resource management experience. Exceptional multi-tasking, networking, relationship-building and financial management skills are pre-requisites.
