Job Title: Procurement officer
Location: Juba, South Sudan
Reports to: Operations Support Manager

JOB PURPOSE
Procurement of goods and services to ensure value for money and to facilitate project implementation and completion.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Operations department, encourage and reinforce open and continuous coordination and collaboration with other departments particularly programming staff, ensure an efficient and cost effective procurement of goods and services.
Procure goods and services for PSSP as per requesters’ specifications and laid down procurement process policies.
Collect profile and analyze bids from vendors and present to the bids selection committee for final selection.
Submit to the Operations Manager monthly procurement reports.
Ensure an orderly and documented procurement tracking system and submit monthly reports to PSSP managers or requesters.
Liaise with Logistics Officer and Stores Assistant to maintain a smooth flow and storage of good procured.
Liaise with various PSSP departments/units in their procurement needs in order to maintain a quarterly goods and services projection.
Supplier databank management - Conduct source audit exercises through supplier pre-qualification, selection, evaluation and assessment.
Preparation of standard bidding documents with terms and conditions of tender.
Ensure orders are accurately drawn with correct specification, quantity and delivery requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Diploma level training in business administration, university degree with a bias in procurement desirable
Minimum two years NGO procurement management experience highly preferred
Good written and spoken English
Working knowledge of computers with software knowledge in Windows, Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
