Role Purpose Develop, lead and implement the strategic plan for all products and services under his/her responsibility; that contribute to meet Category & Company’s revenues and financial targets, usage penetration and consumer satisfaction goals. As part of the Information Category, you will be implementing regional initiatives coordinated with the Information Global Category team. Key Responsibilities • Make roadmap for Category Information. • Developing and implementing business plans that achieve category (Information) business objectives making it biggest contributor to revenue growth. Autonomous Product Management & Marketing of the Information vertical. • Responsibility includes all Information verticals – Data 2G,3G & Fixed, Subscription packs, Including Product creation, building the business case, configurations across systems, testing UATs, launch plans (ATL/BTL/Other Telecom medias – SMS/OBD/IBD/PCN/USSD/etc), ensuring Regulatory compliances, Training, Internal communications with Sales, Customer Services, IT, RA, IN, Finance, etc. • Maximizing penetration and revenue of the category. • Developing and implementing new products • Responsible for P&L for category e2e & preparing, ensuring EMTEL Data Revenues & Costs for Financial Year budgets. • Validating of research plan, participates at innovation proposal process. Preparation of a product/process improvement brief. • Validating product category needs from Product/Process brief profile. Validating product brief profile for product/process improvements • Validating test results, consistency and training plan. • Defining and validating creative brief; and developing internal and external communication strategy for category (including communication bulletin and launch event) • Information U&R and promotion management - Promotion planning, managing the communication channel mix – OBD, IBD, USSD, SMS, Tell calling, PCN, Cellinfo displays, Retail Chain, Mass communication mediums, etc. to increase Usage, penetration & Revenue on a month-on-month basis. Overall experience (8+ years) Minimum 3 years with a Telecom Operator; Exposure to mobile Data University degree, preferable in marketing, communication, arts or engineering. MBA would be preferred.
