Responsibilities include:
- Lead the project's engagement with international, host-country, and public and private stakeholders, ensuring strategic coordination of programs with a variety of global health actors in the HIV/AIDS sector
- Lead advocacy efforts at the regional and country level and provide the link with technical support via partners who have global or regional reach
- Participate and represent the project in meetings with USAID and with national and international PEPFAR partners and collaborators
- Liaise with other Global Health Supply Chain programs as well as other PEPFAR and USAID-funded programs
- Serve as point of contact for bilateral agencies such as USAID and other international agencies such as WHO, CDC, Global Fund, and the World Bank
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in management, international development, or public health preferred; bachelor's degree and an additional five years of work experience
- Minimum seven years of experience collaborating with international stakeholders; experience on international health programs preferred
- Proven ability to work with cooperating partners in implementing complex programs
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills; proven diplomatic and public relations skills
- Experience working with PEPFAR-funded partners and program leaders
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Fluency in written and spoken English required; proficiency in a foreign language of USAID-supported countries desirable; knowledge of French, Spanish, or Portuguese preferred
