Become a CFTC expert
The Commonwealth Fund for Technical Co-operation (CFTC) provides technical expertise to public and private sectors by employing professionals on specialist assigments in Commonwealth member countries.
More than 350 experts are deployed each year on assignments that range from a few days to two or three years in length.
What is a CFTC assignment?
Assignments usually involve the training of local counterparts so that the work of experts continues once an assignment ends. As a CFTC expert you will on-the-job training, with special emphasis on:
- information and communication technologies
- innovative approaches to poverty reduction
- enterprise development
- income generation
- environment and heritage preservation.
How do I become a CFTC expert?
To apply you must be a national of a Commonwealth member country.
