Senior Developer

• Develop solution based on Design Requirements so as to meet the client requirements.
• Carry out the system analysis and the details design process, and ensure that the end product is delivered on time and within budget.

Carry out solution development which will involve the following:

1. Detailed Design
2. Prepare and execute Unit Test Cases
3. Programming functionalities which will involve developing new forms, customizing existing forms using Visual Studio c#, writing validations using Progress ABL.
4. Preparation of releases and system integration testing. This will involve working with other developers in ensuring that the product is able to function as a whole.
5. Provide post deployment support to the implementation team until the product is live and the support has started.
6. Produce various statistics and period reports as per the company requirements.

• Must possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science with major in Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Must have 4 years experience or more in programming/application development.

• Vast knowledge and experience in Progress ABL will be is essential. Must be able to independently troubleshoot and configure Progress based systems.
• Must be an expert in Visual Studio.NET C#, Crystal Reports, and have at least basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or higher, Windows operating system, MSQL T-SQL, SQL, XML and SOA.
• Must have basic knowledge of accounting, planning and budgeting.
• Must have worked with and ERP like BAAN, Epicor, Infor, Scala, or known ERPs.
• Must be able to independently write and perform unit test cases. Be able to effectively use test case management and bugs management software.
• Must be able to deliver on time and support meeting overall company deadlines.
• Must be able to establish a good rapport with the customers and colleagues.
• Must have previously worked in an environment where standard Software Development Methodology like Agile was being followed.

Lecturers ( 2 posts )
Lecturer with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with prior teaching experience.

Administrators ( 2 Posts ) 
Will be responsible for General Administration in various departments of the company. Experience of a year in a similar position will be an added advantage.

Counselor ( 1 Post ) 
Will be responsible for registrations and managing student portfolio's at our training center. Minimum qualifications required is a Diploma in Computing.

Financial System Support Executives ( 2 posts )
Application support personnel will assist in implementation and support of computer based Financial Management and Accounting Systems. Minimum qualification required are Bachelors of Commerce or equivalent qualification in Accounting.

Senior Financial System Support Executives ( 2 Posts ) Application support personnel will co-ordinate implementation and support of computer based Financial Management and Accounting Systems. Minimum qualification required a CPA or Equivalent.

Other Requirements :
Good communication skills, Ability to work in teams and should be willing to travel outside Dar-es-Salaam
