MINES MANAGER-1 POSITION

Qualification:

3. Must have good managerial skills of Mechanized open cast mine/quarry operations and surface blasting operation.
4. Knowledge of Cement technology is highly required.

6. Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a Quarry/Open Cast Mining operations OR its equivalent.
Duties:
1. Responsible for receiving, storing and issuing of explosives for quarry blasting operations.
2. Responsible for planning and implementation of the Mining Master plan.
3. Managing the contractors dealing with Mining load and haul in the plant.
4. Prepare monthly mining loyalty, cement raw materials together with explosive returns to the Ministry of Energy and Minerals.
5, liaise with quality department in controlling the quality of all raw materials and plant process analysts one monthly mass balance reports.
6. Prepare and control the yearly departmental budget.

2. Knowledge in Computerized Maintenance System-Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
3. Must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) OR Institute of Engineers Tanzania.
4. Must be fluent in speaking and writing English and Swahili languages.
5. Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a manufacturing Cement industry, processing industries OR its equivalent.
Duties:
1. Assisting in the supervision of the execution of all mechanical maintenance and closes work orders in Enterprise Asset Management System-EAM.
2. Responsible for the execution of all mechanical maintenance for both corrective maintenance work orders and planned maintenance shutdowns in the area of responsibility.
3. Responsible for the inspection of the running equipments and correction or adjustments of any abnormalities before failure.
4. Ensures spare parts availability for the respective working area.

Duties:
1. Assisting in the implementation of the occupational Health and Safety management system at
TPCC and provide visible and high level safety support to TPCC departments and contractors personnel to ensure the safe and efficient of TPCC operations and associated infrastructure.
2. Attend relevant departmental safety related meetings as agreed with the OHS Manager.
3. Responsible for building Occupational Health and Safety Culture and ensure regular inspections are conducted within all areas of the site including facilities manned by contractors and conduct regular audits/job observations to determine the level of compliance with PPE requirements.
4. Prepare safety statistics on a weekly, monthly and annual basis report of activities and statistics conducted during the period in an accurate and timely manner for inclusion in the site-wide monthly report.
5. Conduct accidents and incidents investigations and prepare the report and record keeping in the data base system and hard copy.
