Reporting to:IT Manager

Core Function: This position is responsible for ensuring that computers and all their equipments are available to the end users. It is also responsible for recommending specification of IT equipmentsacquisition and providing trainings to staff and customers in regard to use of services and computers.

Main duties & Responsibilities

To provide regular support and training to identified users and to determine user-needs (acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with computers, equipment and data).

To install, assemble, configure and maintain computers equipments available such as printers, scanners, photocopiers, UPS, stabilizers, laptops, desktops and ete.

To troubleshoot problems with computer systems which includes troubleshooting hardware and software and make repairs and corrections where required.

In collaboration with Network Administrator, to install, configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, modems and all available network related

Education & Special / Personal Abilities

A holder of Diploma in Information Technology or an A+ certification in IT technology. Must be self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision.

Ability in installing, configuring, assembling and repairing computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers and other related hardware.

Excellent troubleshooting skills covering both hardware and software. Excellent in organizing work, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.

Must have 6 months of experience in doing computer hardware and software.
