GRM is looking for a Political Economist for a large, anticipated DFID-funded Programme on Education Quality Improvement in Tanzania. The goal of this programme is to support the Government of Tanzania to improve the quality of education in primary schools. The programmes objective will also be to increase the number of children, particularly girls to develop the skills to transfer into secondary education across 20 local councils.
This position is contingent upon GRM International being awarded a contract.
Selection Criteria
- Experience in PE analysis for DFID in Tanzania or in Easy Africa;
- Experience applying PE analysis for improving quality in education;
- Strong understanding of policy and institutions in East Africa;
- Experience in working in at least two of the following regions in Tanzania; Dodoma, Kigoma, Lindi, Mara, Rukwa, Shinyanga or Tabora;
