Description: 

We are looking for a dynamic financial services specialist to work in our accounting advisory group to support our FS clients in preparation for and implementation of new accounting rules for impairment. Applicant will have a good knowledge of credit modeling and forecasting. In addition to the above, the successful individual will also support our wider XLoS FS team in delivery of services to our FS client base. The position will allow the right candidate to position themselves as our subject matter expert and lead delivery of assignments in this area across the region. You will be part of a team of highly motivated professionals seeking to deliver the highest quality service to our financial services client base.

Qualifications & Skills:

• University Degree Educated
• Accounting Qualification and/or credit risk experience
• Professional accounting firms or international financial institutions
• Financial Services, risk management
• In depth understanding of the application of IAS39, IFRS 9 knowledge beneficial, credit impairment analysis and forecasting, credit reporting and MI.

Managing and executing delivery of client engagements to a high standard. Specifically:

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
• Ability to train and develop staff such; and,
• Ability to demonstrate technical expertise to clients and identify practical solutions.
