Description

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded accountant to work within our Structuring Services team. The team advises clients on a wide range of transactions, identifying issues and providing solutions in a deal environment. The applicant will be a qualified by a recognized accounting institute and have a strong understanding of IFRS. Alongside this, they should have an inquisitive and commercially minded approach to enable them to apply their technical knowledge to specific transactions and issues.
The applicant will join a wider team of highly motivated transaction specialists and would have the opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions across the region including IPO’s, merger & acquisition transactions, refinancing, group reorganizations and joint venture/ investment structures.

Requirements

Technical Skills Required:
CA / ACCA / CPA qualified;
3 years audit experience with a Big 4 firm;
IFRS strong technical proficiency;
Middle East accounting and auditing experience is beneficial.

Desired Skills:

Bilingual (English and Arabic);
Desire to enhance technical accounting skills;
Motivated to provide high quality client service;
Strong project management skills & experience of working on large engagements;
Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues & clients at all levels;
Adaptable to various work environments;
Ability to multi task and effectively manage their workload on a variety of transactions;
