RTI INTERNATIONAL (RTI) is implementing the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Uganda Governance, Accountability, Participation and Performance (GAPP) Program The
goal of this five-year program is to increase participation, accountability and local governance for effective service delivery. To achieve this goal, the GAPP Program will focus on three components: (1) Support and strengthen national level government accountability institutions in their interaction with local governments; (2) Strengthen local government revenue, procurement, financial and planning systems; and (3) Strengthen civil society organizations (CSOs) and other non:state actors (NSAs) to improve voice and accountability. The GAPP Program will work at the national level and in at least 24 districts in northern Uganda, the Albertine region of Bunyoro, and central Uganda.

As the prime contractor for the GAPP Program, RTI is currently seeking candidates for the following job positions.
Civil Society Program Assistant will support the Civil Society-Private Sector Advisor to ensure the effective implementation of activities under Component 3; and serve as a home and field office point of contact and coordination for the District Coordinators.

Requirement:A master's degree in a related field with a minimum of one year of relevant experience (preferred), or bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of three years of relevant experience; and knowledge of and experience working with CSOs and/or NSAs in Uganda. |
