Job Summary: Identifies new government grants, foundations and corporation grants; cultivates strong working relationships with key funders in order to maintain sustainable funding; participates in grant related presentations as required; works with the SAWSO Compliance Manager to ensure grant compliance; oversees procurement of funding domestically and internationally. May travel domestically and internationally to build grantor relationships.
Minimum Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferably related to philanthropy (and Master’s degree in international development or related field preferred); and five years of professional experience in a grant writing position, working in a fast paced/high energy, multiple project, deadline driven environment; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
The hiring range is $2,345.99-$2,639.25/bi-weekly. Benefits after 90 days. Free underground parking and lunches offered.
