Our Client, the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development(MLHHSD) with support from Development Partners including UK Department for International Development Agency (DFID), Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and Danish International Development Agency (DAN IDA) has launched the Land Tenure Support Programme (LTSP) to address some of Land Administration Challenges in the Country. The Programme will take three years focusing on: (a) enhancing transparency and benefits of large scale land deals, (b) policy and institutional development, and (c) land tenure regularization. In order to achieve these goals, MLHHSD is seeking to recruit open-minded, self-driven, hardworking, self-motivating, results oriented individuals of high integrity and possess good interpersonal communication skills to play a critical role in supporting the Ministry in the achievement of its Vision and Mission.
In pursuit of these objectives, MLHHSD invites dynamic and innovative candidates to submit their applications for the following positions at the Land Tenure Support Programme (LTSP).
Driver-1 post
The Driver will work under the direct supervision of the Project Administrator.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Driving the Programme vehicle in accordance with the approved directives;
Ensuring that the Programme vehicle is in good running condition;
Reporting any mechanical faults to the Supervisor;
Maintaining the vehicle logbook in accordance with the requirements of the
Operational Manual;
Ensuring economic use of the Programme vehicle and fuel; and
Ensuring safety of the Programme vehicle.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Driving license Grade C;
Advanced Drivers Course Grade II Certificate;
High Degree of Integrity;
Proven no accident history/record; and
At least 5 years of experience from related to field.
Remuneration
