Team Leader/ Expert (Cat. II)

Project Title:  10th EDF Support to Culture: Mid-term evaluation

Qualifications:

• Category II expert with a Master's Degree in social science, or an equivalent general professional experience of at least6 years in one of the fields of social science.
• The expert will have specific professional experience working on culture for development projects, including working closely with organisations active in cultural and creative industries and/or cultural heritage management.
• The expert will have to demonstrate experience on project cycle management and the use of the logical framework.
• The expert will have demonstrable experience in leadership of a team
• The expert will have to demonstrate an excellent understanding and track record of evaluating development related projects and programmes.
• He/she will have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• He/she will be fluent in English
• Command of the Kiswahili language will be considered as asset.
• Experience of cultural projects in Tanzania will be considered an advantage.
• Experience working with EU projects in evaluation and implementation will be considered an advantage.

Working days:  42,5 working days

Start date:  late August 2015
