About the role:

This integral role is our lead in developing and implementing Amnesty International’s (AI) global strategies and operational plans. Central to Amnesty’s planning, you’ll hold us to account in delivering our strategic goals. Leading the Strategic and Evaluation Unit and working closely with AI’s Senior Leadership team, you’ll champion learning by promoting evaluation and reflection, impact and accountability.

About you:

You’ll be looked to in order to assess our current impact, making judgements for strengthening and improvement, and looking ahead at how our strategic goals can have the greatest positive impact on human rights to cause meaningful change globally.

An established strategic thinker with a strong background in human rights or justice work, you’ll have tangible experience in managing cross-organisation strategic and operational planning, delivery and evaluation. You’ll have high level capability in strategic thinking, with a successful track record of integrating multiple strategic strands into a coherent whole, being able to communicate these to others effectively.
