COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION (CBE)

The College of Business Education is established by Act of Parliament No. 31 of 1965. CBE is a training Government Executive Agency operating ‘semi’ autonomously and commercially in providing education in Accountancy, Procurement & Supplies Management and other business related disciplines.

4.1 ASSISTANT LECTURER LAW - 1 POST (RE- ADVERTISED)

4.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaches up to NTA level 8 (Bachelor’s Degree);

• Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises;

• Conducts research, seminars and case studies;

• Carries out consultancy and community services under supervision;

• Prepares teaching manual; and

• Performs any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor.

4.1.2 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
 Master Degree with at least GPA of 3.8 at undergraduate level specializing in law.
4.1.3 REMUNERATION:

• Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’s salary scale.

4.2 ASSISTANT LECTURER ACCOUNTANCY - 2 POSTS (RE- ADVERTISED) 4.2.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaches up to NTA level 8 (Bachelor’s Degree);

• Conducts research, seminars and case studies;

4.2.2 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
 Master  Degree  with  at  least  GPA  of  3.8  at  undergraduate  level  specializing  in
accountancy.

4.3 ASSISTANT LECTURER - LEGAL METROLOGY - 2 POSTS - (RE-ADVERTISED) DAR ES SALAAM CAMPUS

4.3.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teaches up to NTA level 8 (Bachelor’s Degree);

• Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises;

• Conducts research, seminars and case studies;

• Carries out consultancy and community services under supervision;

• Prepares teaching manual; and

• Performs any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor.

4.3.2 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
 Master degree in Legal Metrology  and all other related field with a GPA of 3.8 or
above at undergraduate level specializing in Legal Metrology .
4.3.3 REMUNERATION:

4.4 ASSISTANT LECTURER - PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLIES MANAGEMENT - 3

POSTS - (RE- ADVERTISED) – DODOMA AND DAR ES SALAAM CAMPUSES.

4.4.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teaches up to NTA level 8 (Bachelor’s Degree);

• Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises;

• Conducts research, seminars and case studies;

• Carries out consultancy and community services under supervision;

• Prepares teaching manual; and

• Performs any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor.

4.4.2 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

 Masters Degree either in Procurement and Supplies management, Procurement and

Supply Chain management or Materials Management with a GPA of 3.8 or above at undergraduate level specializing in Procurement and Supplies management,

Procurement and Supply Chain management or Materials Management.

4.4.3  REMUNERATION:

4.5 ASSISTANT LECTURER - BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION – 2 POSTS - (RE-

ADVERTISED)

4.5.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teaches up to NTA level 8 (Bachelor’s Degree);

• Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises;

• Conducts research, seminars and case studies;

• Carries out consultancy and community services under supervision;

• Prepares teaching manual; and

• Performs any other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor.

4.5.2 QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
 Masters  Degree  in  Business  Administration  with  a  GPA  of  3.8  or  above  at
undergraduate level specializing in Business Administration.
4.5.3 REMUNERATION:

• Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’s salary scale.

4.6 TUTORIAL ASSISTANT LEGAL METROLOGY – 1 POST - (RE- ADVERTISED)

4.6.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaching up to NTA level 6 (Ordinary Diploma);

• Assists in conducting tutorial and practical exercises for students under close supervision;

• Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises;

• Assists in conducting research under close supervision;

• Carries out consultancy and community services under close supervision; and

• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.


4.6.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE.

 Bachelor Degree in legal metrology and all other related field with a GPA of 3.8 or above.

4.6.3 REMUNERATION:

• Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institution’s salary scale.
