PwC’s PRTM Management Consulting has created competitive advantage for its clients by changing the way companies operate. Its management consultants work with senior executives, and operational leads, to develop and implement operational strategies that deliver breakthrough results. Among other things, the firm is a global leader in operational strategy, supply chain, product and service innovation, and customer value management. In order to fortify its current offering, PwC’s PRTM Management Consulting is looking to hire a Consultant for its Construction and Real Estate group.
The Consultant – an individual with strong analytical, research skills and boundless energy– will assist the Construction and Real Estate group, leveraging PwC’s network. The consultant will be an integral part of the Group and assist members with market research, report writing, financial modelling, and data analysis.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Meaningfully support the effort to stand-up the Real Estate and Construction team
- Conduct market research in order to: triangulate between conflicting information, indentify industry insights, spot trends, and identify opportunities
- Conduct data analysis, create financial models, and run sensitivity analysis
- Support the Group’s marketing efforts by assisting in the creation of IP, approach documents and proposals
- Support in the delivery of projects
Qualifications / Skills
The ideal candidate will have +3/5 years in real estate and/or construction and be intimately familiar with the industry in the Middle East, including players, management, challenges and trends. However, industry experience is not a pre-requisite, but a strong passion for the industry and role must be demonstrated. Prior investment banking, consulting or private equity experience will be viewed favourably.
The preferable candidate would have worked in one of the following areas: engineering design, construction management or project management. Also, the preferable candidate would demonstrate experience in contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution in any industry
